SurvCAD Now Bundled With Surv-Aid 2006
SurvCAD is now bundled with
the Surv-Aid software! This
survey oriented CAD software is geared specifically for Surveyors. This
eliminates the need for expensive and difficult to master CAD software.
The user-friendly interface gives you the power of CAD with the
commands and functions you really need. With Surv-Aid's field-to-finish
functionality, a few button clicks transforms your raw data collector
data into a near completed drawing in SurvCAD. From here the drawing
can be imported into the major CAD programs if desired. Full CAD
functionality in SurvCAD means a complete set of drawing and editing
tools are made available to the user within Surv-Aid. Drawings can also
be made from scratch and on-the-fly. As you coordinate in Surv-Aid,
your drawing is created for you while you work. A real-time CAD scratch
pad allows you to visually monitor your calculations on-the-fly.
SurvCAD, now bundled with Surv-Aid, offers you a complete cogo

SurvEdit 2006
SurvEdit is a custom text editor
designed for surveyors and engineers. It offers numerous row,
column, and data processing features not found in common word processor
programs. SurvEdit is ideal for working with data from a number
of different sources and converting it to a user specified format or
format required by other programs. Data loaded into the editor
can be converted to a spreadsheet style grid and edited by a unique set
of tools. Data can be massaged on a row by row basis, or held
strictly to a particular column. The spreadsheet data could then
be exported out into a database or read back into the text editor in a
format chosen by the user.
SurvEdit is an editor that will quickly become a valuable tool which
you will rely on time and time again. The processing power of
this software will ensure data from electronic data collection devices
such as total stations or GPS units can easily be imported into your
software. SurvEdit is an ideal companion for our Surv-Aid
coordinate geometry/CAD software.
SurvCalc
SurvCalc
is an expression style calculator which allows the entry of math
expressions. The Surv-Aid program can pop-up the calculator and use
the results in all angle and distance inputs of the program. The
calculator was designed for surveyors and includes a graphical
trigonometry and curve solver. Simply plug in the minimum known values
and SurvCalc will compute a complete list of calculations. The
expression calculator accepts text expressions in the format
DMS(DEG(10.2030)+DEG(58.4516)) or 129.185*SIN(DEG(45.4614))/2. For DMS
angle calculations, SurvCalc will accept the angle entry in degrees,
minutes, seconds, i.e. 10.2030, and perform the running totals without
the need for specifying a DMS angle each time. This feature will allow
you to add or subtract angles quickly on the fly.
Expressions
can be stored and recalled at any time. Variables and constants can be
predefined and watched during calculations. Unit conversions can be
performed for many different unit types. The Kristal Solver feature
enables calculating many predefined survey and engineering problems.
SurvCode And SurvComm
SurvCode allows users to
import raw data downloaded from data collectors and perform gross
blunder detections on the survey. The raw data is converted to a user
friendly, spreadsheet type editor to allow the user to make corrections
in an easy to use format. SurvCode will also create a Field Book file,
which can be imported directly into CAD with full connectivity of
ground features and symbols.
SurvComm allows users to download data from devices connected to
your serial ports. Data can be recorded and saved from RS232
devices such as total station or GPS data collectors.
